As the bass playing population gets older, so there has been a growing demand for light weight gear that wont induce a hernia. The most popular manifestation of this market are cabs with a single 12 inch driver and tweeter. There are a few cabs with a single 10 inch driver and tweeter but these do not appear to be so popular and perhaps can't deliver the sound players want. Most of the 1×12 cabs available have neo speakers but there are a few that are available with traditional drivers.
